Cookie policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026 · Version: v1
1. Summary
HEDGEOG does not use cookies. Neither our own nor third-party ones, neither for analytics nor for advertising. There are no audience measurement tools, tracking pixels or social media buttons that would set them, which is why this website shows no cookie banner.
What we do use is the browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) so that
the application can work. This page explains what is stored, what for and for how long.
2. Public website (hedgeog.com)
The public website —home, pricing, features, demo, support and legal pages— stores nothing in your browser. Fonts, images and the demo video are served from our own domain.
3. Application (hedgeog.com/app)
The following is stored only when you log in and use the application. All of it is first-party and strictly necessary: without it the application could not keep you logged in or remember how you left it.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
hedgeog_token | localStorage · first-party | Keep you logged in (access credential). | Until you log out. The credential expires after 8 hours even if it remains stored. |
hedgeog_sidebar | localStorage · first-party | Remember whether the sidebar is collapsed or open. | Until you clear your browser data. |
hedgeog.ultimoCliente | localStorage · first-party | Open the last brand you viewed. | Until you clear your browser data. |
hedgeog_datos_… | localStorage · first-party | Temporary copy of a brand's data, so it is not requested again on every screen. | Considered expired after 5 minutes and replaced on the next request. |
hedgeog.recargaChunk | sessionStorage · first-party | Reload the page once if a new version was published while you had it open. | Until you close the tab. |
4. Third-party services
- Website icons (application only). To show the icon of cited websites and competitors, the
browser requests them from
www.google.com/s2/favicons(Google) andicons.duckduckgo.com(DuckDuckGo). These requests send the domain whose icon is shown. We do not set cookies through them; if those services process request data, they do so under their own policies. - Payment with Stripe. Subscription payment takes place on Stripe's page
(
checkout.stripe.com), outside our domain. Stripe uses its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its cookie policy.
5. How to delete this data
Logging out deletes the access credential. Everything else can be removed from your browser
settings by clearing the site data for hedgeog.com.
6. Changes
If we ever add cookies or storage that is not strictly necessary, we will say so here and ask for your consent before using them.
More information on how we process your data in our privacy policy (in Spanish).
